DESCRIPTION
TheSP6837has the built-in programmable cablevoltagedrop compensation function, whichmake it flexibleto accommodate various cableswith different gaugesand lengths.
TheSP6837provides accurate constant voltage,constantcurrent (CV/CC) regulation withoutrequiring anopto-coupler and secondary controlcircuitry. It alsoeliminates the need of loopcompensation circuitrywhile maintainingstability.
TheSP6837achievesexcellent regulation andhigh average efficiency, yetmeets therequirement for no-load consumption lessthan30mW.
TheSP6837is a high performance AC/DC powersupplycontroller for battery charger and adapterapplications.The device uses Pulse FrequencyModulation(PFM) method to builddiscontinuous conductionmode (DCM) flyback
power supplies.
The SP6837is available in SOIC-8 package.
